2. North Carolina is "purple": several liberal metro areas surrounded by many conservative rural areas. The metro areas continue to grow and the rural areas continue to shrink.

Funny story: I was in Downtown Raleigh and saw a couple of rainbow (LGBT) flags at some establishments and drove just 20 minutes east where confederate banners appeared. That really caught my attention, to say the least.



But this America, land of the free. Live and let live I say .

Thanks for your review, agree with pretty much most of it and I've lived in many different areas over the US, rural and urban.

btw, cockroaches have been around for around 300 million years, which means they were around BEFORE dinosaurs. Yep, they're super tough!
