It is nice to be able to finally see them on national TV. I have YouTube TV so I don't get Bally sports so I haven't been able to watch that much. I was flipping between the canes and leafs last night. Both teams look really strong. No it took the canes a little bit to get going it feel like but Boston is always a sleeper in the playoffs. I also realized Max Domi is on the canes. Just realized they picked him up at the trade deadline. I grew up watching the Maple leafs and watching his father.

I mean, heck, we only took the place to 110.2 dB last night.
0.0 on the Richter scale, yanno?

I saw a 111.2 in the 1st (or before the 1st) but I think it was much louder at the end of the 3rd when the goals started flowing.

Ah....
I think my ears were numb by then.

Good question for the Walt Ruff mailbag.... "Record dB?"

I think the Predators claim it at 129.4 DB. That being said, this seems to be more a fascination of expansion teams or newer teams. I’ve never seen the Rangers or Red Wings pull out the decibel meter.

The players seem to like it loud.

Several of them also like the Wave....

Noise level comparisons are problematic. An average reading across all seats in the venue? One reading at center ice?

Technically, all good questions.
I would say, dB is all about FUN.

But. The next time they do a mailbag, I think I will ask some of those FUN questions.

Oh no, now you’re hitting a nerve Mike! Not the wave!!!

I’m praying for my dream matchup of Blues vs Canes in SCF. I think that might divide our household!

LOL
I love the Wave, and many other things that annoy purists.
