I thought it was ashame how State put the screws on Jim Valvano. I really felt for him and his family.

He was "prosecuted" by sloppy and inaccurate writing in a "tell all" book full of mistakes. Was he perfect? No. Did he deserve what he got? Well, that's debatable at least.

Just my opinion but I-40 in Wake should be Rod Brind'Amour freeway

Maybe change Western Blvd to Valvano Blvd or whatever, but that should have been done awhile ago if it were to happen.

The internal street on the athletic side of Cary High is Jim Valvano Dr. The Town of Cary approved a resolution for the naming a week before he died.
