I’d personally rather look at statistics right here in my own country versus others.

What are the stronger gun laws you are looking for and how do you think that they will help to prevent criminals from obtaining guns illegally?

Regulation is not the answer. It’s easy to place the blame on laws and politics but neither are the answer.

Nobody wants to talk about the open floodgates at our southern border that allows unregulated illegal weapons and drugs to easily flow into our country, not to mention criminals. But you get what you vote for.

You hammered it. Unfortunately talking about it is taboo and no one wants to be labeled as a racist or xenophobe for voicing any opposition to the open borders. It's easier to point fingers at outcomes rather than root causes.

The irony is, most people will vote for politicians who they think are the safer choices, only to end up less safe in the long run. Go figure.

An appeal to emotion to obfuscate the lack of causality.

More likely there are more teen thugs killing each other today than ever before, if they aren't killing themselves because of undiagnosed mental illness. No other developed country has ignore this problem for so long while barking up the wrong tree

False.

The number of gun laws in this country has steadily increased over the past 40 years. Yet, there's more violent deaths than ever before. Before you look elsewhere, ask yourself why it wasn't always this way right at home.

There are now more than 20,000 gun laws in the books and people still say having more laws is key. People are deluded if they think "just one more law" is going to fix anything if the previous 20,000 didn't do squat.

Eh. The actual trend seems to be lower per 100,000 population.

I think we'd need to look at the structure and content of those laws before stating something like that. You can have all the laws you want but if they are not of merit then what's the point.

Laws don't prevent. Laws create standards and provide framework for consequences for violators.

Tim Moore also once again exposed his idiocy with a claim that "they don't work."

That level of stupid leads me to think he would believe that speed limits, laws against murder, rape, and theft, etc, etc, should all be repealed. They don't "work" when considered by speakers who eagerly unleash their basic stupidity.

Lol. Consequences.

Crimes that are committed with guns are already illegal. That doesn’t seem to be stopping them.
