Looks like a rescheduling of the fireworks is planned already (I assume the dates are still tentative pending another storm):

1. Raleigh; NC Fairgrounds
Rescheduled for Sat. July 5, 2008 - Fireworks begin at 9:15PM (FREE)

2. Cary; Koka Booth Amphitheater at Regency Parkway
Rescheduled for Sat. July 5, 2008 - Fireworks begin at 9:00PM (FREE)

NOTE: Cary officials indicate the NC symphony performance is also scheduled this evening. If you only want to attend the fireworks and see the second half of the symphony, FREE, patrons should arrive at 8:15 p.m. Paying patrons wanting to see the entire symphony and fireworks should arrive by 7:30 p.m. Admission for the entire symphony is $22.

3. Durham; Durham Bulls Athletic Park
Rescheduled for Mon. July 7, 2008 - Fireworks begin at close of Norfolk game (FREE after the 7th inning)[indent]

NOTE: "The Durham Parks & Recreation Fireworks show scheduled for Friday, July 4th at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park has been rescheduled for Monday July 7th at the DBAP following the Durham Bulls game against the Norfolk Tides. Anyone with a ticket stub from the Independence Day Celebration can redeem their ticket for a ticket to the game and fireworks show. People wanting to attend who didn't have a ticket can enter the ballpark after the 7th inning to enjoy the fireworks."

I love the actor but if he sings I never knew it.

We usually always go to the fairgrounds but everyone wanted to relax at home and watch a movie.
Glad we did. The fireworks storm reminds me of '98 or '99 when just at dusk on the 4th it poured and stormed.

Yeah it was the actor. We didnt know he sang either. He wasn't very good either. Just my opinion! Maybe it'd be your cup of tea
