opened the door this evening out here in JoCo, and the spring peepers were as loud as the crickets in September! Great to hear- sound of SPRING

heard 'em yesterday along weaver dairy rd in CH, such a great sound to behold on Feb 17 for a Mass native in my first year here!! love the peepers. incidentally, NC has a bunch of interesting tree frogs.

I am from Richmond - usually heard them there about the end of Feb or March 1 - when did you hear em in Mass? - about May?? lol
