Hello! We are moving from NY to Raleigh in the next 2 months (yes ANOTHER NY family ...BUT we have jobs lined up already I promise!!). Anyway can anyone who has done the move recommend a moving company from the NY metro area or Westchester County or steer us away from a company. I haven't started looking yet but I wanted some feedback if anyone has any! Thanks in advance!
Also, can anyone recommend a Pediatrician? We are moving to Bedford Falls River and since I'm not TOO familiar with the area yet I'd like someone close.
Thank you!

I am not sure if they are still in business, but 8 years ago I used Budd Van Lines from NJ (Newark area) to Durham. They were awesome. I hope this helps. Welcome to NC!
We moved from Pound Ridge in Westchester to Bedford in Raleigh this past July. We used Clancy Brothers (United Van Lines) out of Patterson and they were EXCELLENT! We highly recommend them. Our agent was Reid Whittemore.
When I moved from Danbury to Raleigh several years ago, I also used United VanLines, but the Suddarth affiliate. They were GREAT. I would highly recommend them.
Friends from Bayside Queens used Dahill Moving and Storage based in Brooklyn-They are Mayflower agents-had no problems with them-Good luck with the move
I used Atlas just last November for a move from NY to Durham, and they were wonderful. Another relative used them the previous year and it was through their experience that we chose to use them. The price was very reasonable.
Used North American Van Lines. They gave us the best price and we were very happy with their service. But it was almost 5 years ago now......where has the time gone?
