Thanks for jogging my memory about that list. That could actually be a good place to ask about the Kress, too (including their searchable archives.)
The closest revitalized neighborhoods to downtown are Trinity Park, Old North Durham, and Duke Park. Their listservs would be a good place to check out as well.
