Hi,
we just moved to Apex and need some repairs done on a 2001 VW passat. We are tired of paying the overpriced car dealer service and were wondering if there are any good shops that work on VWs and anyone can recommend.

Right now I need to at least get the timing belt and tie rods changed.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Performance Auto on Trinity has done a fine job for us on my wife's 2002 Passat.

We take our 2003 Passat to Village Motorwerks, and are very happy with them. They seem very fair, even telling us what needed to be done elsewhere and sending us on our way with no charge on one occasion. They've recently changed location and are in the Boylan Heights area of Raleigh, but we find them worth the drive.

The salesman told us about this place when we were buying our Jetta as well. Never been there, but just letting you know of another recommendation.
