It seems as though we're trying to plan this huge meet-up for so many of us (which is just great - I'm in for that) - but it also seems many of us would like a smaller meet-up sooner than later. With that said...

Maybe we can use this thread to coordinate some sort of mini-meet within a few weeks? Any takers???

I know *nothing* about the area other than where I live and where I work - but I'm a pro with google maps :-)

I would definitely be interested...I have been here since November...have met a few people, looked into meetup.com...but all is quiet in meeting good people to chat and see the area...it's not as fun alone... I would be fun to meet the people from this forum, and to say thanks for all their help.

Okay, I am rooting for you guys, but boy is it painful to think of all of you having fun, while some of us, still have that huge move ahead of us. jk

Don't forget Angel, she has been very lonely, hopefully she will read this thread and jump on board with you guys. I know someone else that lives there, that would probably love to join, lolligrump. She moves into her new house tomorrow!!! Yeah, lolligrump!!!!

Hi Eileen
This would be great.
This is Donna Webster who started original thread "Let's meet?"
My husband and I are visiting April 28 for 10 days.
We are available weekend of May 5/6....could we meet at that time?
I've been in touch with Debbie F. and she is available to help find a place we can gather - cofffee house?
This move is a big deal for us so I really want to talk to people that have made the move.
Thanks for starting this new thread.

Donna and David
So CA
