YAHOO!!!! The local news is stating they need to up the forecast temps for Friday. 100 degrees on the way. That's going to feel so good after the chilly weather this week. I will be mixing up my ice tea and anxiously awaiting my wonderful summertime temps.

Chilly weather? The lowest temp this week was 69 degrees, at night. With humidity it feels like 70-something. 100 degrees + humidity = gross

I greatly dislike heat 'n humidty. It's just awful. My dog can't go outside except at 7am or 9pm and I get cabin fever staying inside all day with AC. Give me a 60 degree day ANYTIME...you can always put on a sweater or another layer if necessary, you can comfortably exercise outside at any time and feel refreshed. By contrast you can only take off so much to try and get cool, and once you're down to bare skin, you're done (and stuck).

I hope you enjoy not using your a/c during the 100 degree weather. You will need a lot of iceD tea to keep yourself hydrated.

I had to take my son to swimming lessons this evening. It was 70 degrees and raining a good steady downpour. The instructors' lips were blue and they were shivering. That 100 degrees will actually feel good for swimming lessons later this week, but not for anything else.

I am with you. I LOVE the heat and humidity. I wouldn't want it all year long, as I love the change of seasons, but when it's summertime it's time for the heat. We never have to hide inside because of the heat. We play tennis in the afternoon sun in the summer. A good sweat is good for the body. After all this cold weather and rain this week, my garden is going to explode with the sun and heat this weekend.

100 Degrees....why that's triple digits to some and single options for others!

Its almost summer so it is time! We have been luckily the HOT stuff has stayed away so far but we have to get them to get through them.

So with them coming its just means we must get a cup, glass, carton, bottle, keg, flask, pint, earshot, gallon, boot, or whatever else you fancy your drinks to be in and kick back, back stroke, summer-salt, into the summer temps!

Happy Wednesday!
