If you like what you see in the video (which are generally exaggerated) make an appointment to see the house close up and personal. If your buyer agent won't cooperate, get another agent or deal direct with the listing agent.
Not so much in my market,as the cost for a tour is prohoivte unless it's a luxury home.
Really? What are people charging for Matterport down in CT? I'm surprised it's so much different from what I'm paying up here in MA.
The cost of these tours should go down as the sunk cost of equipment is much lower. Originally, you had to spend thousands on a Matterport camera to create a tour. Now, you can buy a 360 degree camera from Ricoh and create the same quality tour. A really nice Ricoh will set you back $1K. The Matterport camera last I checked was $5K. Cost of entry is now much lower which will increase the number of vendors and push pricing down due to increased competition.
matterport says their subscriber base grew 6x in 2020, and 2020 revenue went up 87%
covid forced people to use matterport 3D tours
will this now be expected of most listings?
how do you think that would impact buyers agents
are you still an agent (full-time, your sole source of income) or gave up and doing something else now?
