I prefer a home vacant when I purchase it, but I always stage a home to sell it. My last home sold in an hour and the couple wanted to buy our furniture they loved the way the house looked. What I want is light colored walls, flooring that looks good, not cracked tiles, or carpet. It has to be clean, and not smell like pets, urine, etc. if your leaving appliances make sure they are clean, if they are not , I would probably walk I don’t want to ave to clean before moving in, I have enough to do.

I voted that I’m an agent and don’t care. But maybe I should have just voted in the consumer section since I’m new to being an agent. Lol

As a buyer, I would lean toward vacant. In my price range, the furniture tends to detract from seeing my family in the space. We also have more than the average number of kids so it can be hard to picture ourselves in a place that is set up for no kids or only one or two.
