It's not *not* the weather either. I agree it's mostly economic forces that drive property values (or the price of anything for that matter.) However, consumer "taste" does account for a small portion of the pie of why the price of anything is what it is. (At least I remembered *something* from college economics) The weather/climate does have an influence on consumer taste in real estate...I can't see how anyone could seriously disagree with that...but I had not seen anyone make the point that actually both are relevant to RE prices.
