Nope. No need to. Recommend you open up a dictionary and find the definition of quantify and intangible. While you are at it, look up qualitative.

Can you look up "denial"???

How about "one trick pony"?

Better yet, buy a house in Alaska. Then buy one in CA. Then sell them both. And report to us which one you made more profit on and why you think that is...

Not at all. I'm trying to provide some insights into economics, and offer an explanation for the sustained price growth in San Diego.

My explanation as to why the San Diego market has appreciated between 1970 and 2000 has nothing to do with my own interests. I have no interest in buying in San Diego, and even if I did, it wouldn't matter to me whether climate or economic growth drove that appreciation.

My problem with your theory is not that it goes against my personal interests (it has nothing to do with them), it is that your theory doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

AGAIN, the only way prices can increase, is if there is more money available per square foot, and that requires economic growth. Sure, the economic growth could be driven by population increase, but if this was all there were to it, everyone who lived in New York and Chicago would be moving to Baltimore.
