Cma, joining her sounds like a great idea! it'll be a good transition for her, let her know she can have fun without him, and it'll keep her from changing her mind and turning around.

Crazyma, it would do her the world of good having you there as a support. How about the legal end of things?

CM, I think having 2 adults so that you can split the drive is a great idea and it will put your mind at ease knowing they're OK.

C21, thanks for the wishes. I feel MUCH better, however, the doctor told J he has bronchitis

About the house, I have NO IDEA when the bank will make their minds up. I just have to practice lots of patience on that one.

I'm going back to resting a little. Thanks for the get well wishes.

Lacey!! I had a cheeseburger for ya tonite!!! You had me wanting one! IHOP actaully makes a pretty darn good one

Yah, I was thinking/had suggested I could be a travel buddy but she is the one who said something about doing by herself...
but I don't want to wind up having to get to the middle of no where, in the middle of the night if she 'loses it' at some point. Yrs ago had to meet her several hundred miles from home after an intense breakup when she could go no farther..........
Tambre- she has spoken to a lawyer a couple of times...and based on the events recently, I think she is going to retain him tomorrow. It sounds like it may get ugly.

WHERE is BARB??? I read something about rumblings around the San Andreas- now I am wondering???

HAMMY wherefore art thou????

OH did anyone EVER hear from JudyP?????? can't help but wonder what happened.

Well this is a decision she has to make but still think, and no night driving - can get a long way from sunup to sundown, that she'd be better (and DGD) if you were there in case she had meltdown. Believe me I know about those - when pseudo and I had a split when dating; way too long of a story for now, I took off for about 8 1/2 months and camped out for a total of 2 months coming and going from Co and CA, and could only drive for a few hours then I'd start crying and have to stop. One time I pulled into what I 'thought' was a campground, but turned out to be a farmer's pasture - the cows going by in the morning was my first clue packed up the tent, my boom box, the dog, my 38 and moved along to a real camp ground. Anyway, point is I understand about meltdowns and why it might be good if you're there if/when she has one, ya know? Just a thought.

CrazyMa, just another vote for you driving with her. I just drove across country by myself (no kids with me) and that was tough enough. It's always good to have another driver!
