Go to a website like Food.com and put in the cream cheese as an ingredient. It'll return thousands of recipes (in the case of cream cheese ... 49,000+).

I use a stick of butter, about 1/4 cup milk, vanilla flavoring, small package of cream cheese and powdered sugar to make cream cheese icing for a carrot cake. I also stir in coconut before icing the cake so the coconut will stay moist. Some people like to add nuts to this, but I don't.

Once I had a lot of icing left and some coconut too. I put the coconut in the icing and made coconut balls. They were melt in you mouth good except the coconut had to be chewed a little. I think it would be really good to put a candy kiss inside the coconut ball. I haven't tried that yet though.

I have a recipe for the Most Wonderful Cheesecake! It's light and tasty and the crust is made right in the pan that it's baked in. If you are interested, I will dig it up. Just let me know here or by DM.

That looks so good, NCN! Is the cream cheese the tiny 4 oz package or are you speaking of the regular 8 oz package? (Small is relative!)

Cheesecake! Also, you can boil some summer squash (amt. varies depending on size of your family). When it's cooked, drop some cream cheese in the pot (again--amt. varies, depending on how much squash you have), and mash it all up, like mashed potatoes. Add a little salt for flavor. Very simple dish, but yummy.

FLUFFY CHERRY CHEESECAKE
Ingredients for pie crust
1 1/2 c. flour
dash salt
2 Tblsp. sugar
4 Tblsp. milk
1/2 c. oil
--I use olive oil

Directions for pie crust: Mix all in pie pan and press out on bottom and up sides to form shell. Use a fork to pierce all over. Bake until light brown at 400 degrees and let cool.

Ingredients for filling
1 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 c. confectioner's sugar
1 pt heavy whipping cream
1 can (21 g) cherry pie filling
--I suppose you could use any fruit filling you like.

Directions for filling: After cream cheese is softened, beat with confectioner's sugar and vanilla and let stand for 20 minutes. Beat whipping cream until peaks form and mix well with cream cheese mixture. Pour into baked pie shell and smooth out. Spoon fruit filling over the top and refrigerate to set. Enjoy!!
