Oh......you want the mush!

Ok - I'll go out on a limb here (and I'm only guessing) and say that you would make it the same way you would make refried beans.

I sauté some onion and garlic in olive oil, then add the pre-cooked beans (I use pinto), and mash them right in the pan. I then add a little cayenne and eat them with shredded cheese and sour cream.

I would think any recipe for refried beans would work, just substituting the black beans for the pinto.
