Smoker Chicken Bulgogi

Boneless skinless chicken thighs

1/4 C soy sauce
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon high quality toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
3 medium cloves garlic, crushed
3 green onions chopped
couple of drops rooster sauce to taste, keep it small amount

Mix together all ingredients except for the chicken, then marinate the chicken in the sauce over night.

1 1/2 hours on the smoker at 250 degrees, basting with the marinade, then move to the grill to burn the sauce on, perhaps 10 more minutes.

If you don't have smoker, this can just be cooked on the grill, or even in a smoking hot cast iron fry pan. This is a flexible recipe.

This chicken is so delicious. It is delicious hot off the grill. It is delicious warmed over. It is delicious cold. It is delicious added to a green salad with Asian dressing. It is delicious added to rice noodles....

I bought a 40 pound box of boneless skinless chicken thighs. I use them to make food for my dogs, but took several pieces to make this recipe. Unfortunately for the dogs, this was so delicious that the 40 pound box of chicken thighs got moved into the people food freezer.

Sorry dogs. At least you still get the two boxes of chicken breast and the 5 pound boxes of gizzards. And the 160 pounds of yams purchased on sale at Thanksgiving. But the chicken thighs are now people food.
