Yes you are a guy, TVandsportsGUY! Can't imagine too many ladies would want to be on the receiving end of a call from a guy whose life revolves around hating a city and its sports teams 24/7.

What difference does it make to you why she changed it? Why are you analyzing a simple thing like that?

The only thing you need to worry about is whether your friend declines to give the new number to you.

Not every action a woman takes is particular to women as a gender. Jaysus!
Great response. Tried to rep you, but you know the drill!

Maybe she's telling you the truth.Mybe she doesn't wish to converse with men who complain all the time about every little thing.Besides it's her right to do so.

Time for a change? Total BS. If she's giving you the real reason, she's just plain crazy. How many people do you know who rotate phone numbers "for a change"?

If a woman gives you a completely unbelievable reason for doing something, it's because she wants you to know the reason, without divulging the reason in so many words. If you think she's giving that excuse to her female friends, think again. Every last one of them knows it's because of [enter guy's name here].

Not entirely true. Bill collectors, prank callers, relocating, are a few other reasons. The guys from Operation Repo, lol.

LOL > NYAnnie lmao... uh anyway.. if your "platonic friend" didn't give you the NEW cell number than my answer would be yes, she's trying to avoid you specifically.

For me, I've only ever changed my number once and it was due to an obsessed b/f that was relentless with calls and texts and I was forced into doing something drastic by changing my number. Best thing I ever did!

Grasshopper, if this is the best you can come up with then you should put CD Relationship Forum Thread-Creation 101 onto the back burner for a while.

Whether a question is asked honestly or dishonestly has nothing to do with whether or not the question is daft, Grasshopper. And what IS a dishonest question? An answer can be dishonest but can a question be thus?
