Wow, this thread is interesting and refreshing! I thought I would see more men saying they hate it just as much but it seems to be more women. I compromise with my husband. He cannot sleep if he doesn't snuggle(cuddle, hold, trap me- different words for it to the poster who complained). I cannot sleep if he does. Since I stay at home and he goes to work I let him snuggle 4 nights a week and I ask for 3 for him to stay away. Many times he'll try to sneak over in the middle of the night thinking I'm asleep and won't notice. I am asleep but then all of a sudden I'm hot and have someone breathing on me *shudders* and I only like that during sex.
My SO loves to keep his arms around me too. He'll drape himself over me and I love it as long as it's not hot. We took a vacation about a month ago and the air conditioner in the hotel was not working as well as it should have - I could not stand his body heat against mine. Otherwise, I'm game.
I love to cuddle...spooning would be good or sleeping curled up on top of him would be nice too. Sleeping as close as humanly possible is what I would want.

It's pretty much common knowledge that women have a dislike for all kinds of physical intimacy so I don't know why that surprised you. Men in general love to snuggle and cuddle with their SO... while women feel the opposite.
I feel sorry for all the women here that have men that like to snuggle and be intimate. I guess I'm an exception in the way that I would never snuggle or be intimate with my girlfriend when I get one, It's just plain disrespectful of men to do that. But I'm a gentleman, a nice guy so I would never do that
I've said it before; I'm more affectionate than sexual.
I like little things like holding hands, playing with hair, laying in laps, cuddling...pretty much anything like that.
And I'm still super manly. I shoot guns, get black eyes, drink beer, watch wrestling and have tons of arm pit hair.....ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
