I spent the morning in my closet with all of my shoes and a hot coffee...he..he..he. I know that wouldn't make most people happy but I'm easy to please.
Now headed out into the hot & humid afternoon with my bf for a cocktail and some glitter day fun.
My hearing has recovered from Saturday's concert, so that's good. No more dancing in the pit for us. Next time we're getting seats with the rest of the old people.
I'm happy and content. We finally have power back. Oh, how I love electricity. I did a water change for my angel fish and fed her. I cooked us up some salmon sauteed with garlic, onions, mushrooms, and fresh parsley; with green beans on the side. Yum. Now, after a glass or two of sangria I'm going to hit the hay.

JJ: I know it's a pain, but take some disposable earplugs next time. It creates a nice balance of enjoying the concert and making sure you're not using hearing aids at 40.
What did I do today that made me happy? Well, I'm going camping next weekend at a "big game" for paintball, the only one in NM. There will be my favorite sport, ****ting in the woods, and friends, and drinking. What more can I want?
I'm also buying my first rifle, since my pistol is getting a little lonely. I have the money but I need to special-order the rifle because of the price and the fact that it is not available for purchase locally.
Finally, I'll be going up to see a girl I'm really interested in the weekend after this one. She's not interested in a relationship right now, but I know she knows, and even though I am currently a few hours away, I am planting the seeds for something when I move to her area in 8 months.
THAT makes me very happy. I've almost got something resembling a life now.
