No...I haven't lost interest at all . But I'm not agressivly pursuing it like I was when younger. I also don't care to put up with a lot of the BS in dating.

I agree, sounds like another wannabe expert skewing/not collecting info properly just for the sake of supporting his argument.

That's got to be where men wise up and change their "Hassle Factor" on what's things in life are worth. A guy in college might drive 500 miles and put up with a lot of unpleasantness just for the slight chance he might get some good loving.

The older we get, we realize we shouldn't have to work that hard or put up with the drama.

The drive may not be as strong, but the wisdom should make up for the difference.

I Do think that older men (more 50's than 40's) tend to lose interest in women. I don't know exactly why, but it may be the fact that they're @ the age when they should be happily married with a family & the American dream life, & they're still single. That could be depressing.

That might make them resent women, & that could be why. I also know that some men are backward with that. The older they get, the more sexually active they are (which is gross but OK.) I guess it depends on the man.

Isn't it ironic that as men enter the age where they can get practically any woman they want, many of them lose interest?

Well even as you turn 40, I imagine you realize you ain't in your prime anymore (most.) Men who are not @ the peak of their life aren't exactly to-die-for to women. Especially if they're on the downslope. But if they're all depressed about being old & alone, it just makes them that much more unatractive. Old & feeling sorry for yourself is one hell of a lot more undesirable than just plane old.

Well, as someone that really now only dates men that are at least 40, I gotta ask...what state is it that they have lost interest?

I haven't been there yet, obviously.

Makes one wonder what kind of 'women' this creepy, hostile, left handed strummer, has had relationships with in the past.
He should probably do all females a big favor and stay single. He's got no class.
Maybe he's been off of his meds too long?
