My wife was the one who was pushing me to make the proposal. I'm just the driver, she's the fun one who likes hanging out with the ladies.
The therapist didn't offer advice on the grow and thrive question that I recall. The question was offered for our reflection, but the we've always been a healthy couple with a committed relationship. We had let our lifestyle cause us to neglect the attention we should have given to each other.
We (mostly I) had forgot who was number #1 in our lives. It took a good poke with a sharp stick to bring my reality back in focus.
