IF you actually know women who have denied it that's probably just because they prefer to maintain their privacy and don't feel it's an appropriate topic to discuss with you
Oh no, its not about a woman and me talking about it, but when the topic comes up women normally will act as if they are totally disgusted, they would never ever dare themselves to do such a terrible thing, etc. Still, studies/surveys/etc. show that the vast majority of women/men do it.
I agree, its not a topic you would want to talk about out loud in public. Regardless of masturbation being something MOST women/men do and women finding it hard to admit they do, sexuality somehow is a private topic, you're right.
I have a business associate who is going through a divorce after 14 years of marriage. While he may be downplaying it and not being honest, he says it is because of his masturbation to porn.
He says they have a healthy sex life and that he doesn't do it often, but typically when he travels for work, he has a few drinks and goes to the hotel room. You know the rest. She looked at his computer and has a HUGE problem with it.
It made me want to ask about that situation, but also in general...how offensive is your hubby masturbating...whether to porn or not.
I HIGHLY doubt this is the reason for the divorce. To walk away from 14 years of marriage SHOULD take more than discovering porn on the computer and realizing your hubby was masturbating to it. Even if she is that "conservative" the mere fact she is willing to divorce him shows her hypocrisy in the sanctity of marriage.
I recently bought a couple of porn flicks for me and hubby to watch. To my dismay they were quite dissapointing for the both of us. I couldn't even pop one off from it! Oh well, I'll try again another day.

Again, I think many people just prefer to keep their sex life private

Could very well be. I can tell you that she is very uncomfortable with his masturbation. I couldn't bring myself to ask him how often...lol
Very funny...unfortunately it is a co-worker. It isn't me. Believe it or not, I do my very best NOT to look at porn. While it can be great, it has such a dark side and I find it dulls reality. Some of that stuff is next to impossible to do and really, do we need to be so obsessed with trying it out.....
