To me making love is when when 2 couples go out and enjoy things like going to a beach or a lake, getting to know each other well, and staying with each other threw the bad and/or worst things throughout the relationship, and enjoying things with one another.

Now, when someone say's that sex is making love, i start being like; "How in the world is sex makin love when it's just sex!" Hell, anybody can have sex with this person and i know sex is exciting but, can they be with that person for longer and experience TRUE LOVE without getting sex confused with love!?

So, Is it me or is it that society got things confused on some things?

I call it "making love" between 2 people that love each other and are in a long-term commitment

Sex is supposed to be the ultimate expression of romantic love between a husband and wife, which is where the term 'making love' comes from. Sadly sex it's been debased to nothing more than animal impulses.

Also known as "sleeping with." Now how's that for making it obscure?

making love is just a less harsh and crude way of saying sex. Ideally sex is done between two people in love. So of course someone who has casual and liberal beliefs about sex will view sex as simple and nonloving as doing a handshake.

Making love is the highest level of physical intimacy between two people who are in love. Sex is a physical act that allows you to release stress. It can be construed as feel good exercise. Love is not essential.
