I'd be happy spending winters someplace warm. Summers in the mountains. But I'm stuck here. So last week I spend $139 for a good carhartt jacket and replacement pack boots... I couldn't find my old pair... I did after scoring the new boots. Anyway with the investment I am plenty warm and working in the cold isn't so bad.
Man, wearing short sleeves and being barefoot on Dec 5th was really cool! Even had to run the AC in my car on the way back! Well, I know it's not technically winter yet, but I looooove our winter!
Lucky you.
I love that we have four seasons, but I'll admit to loving winter exactly for the first cool clean breeze and the first snow and then I'm done. From then on, I'd be content seeing winter on a postcard.
All you lucky SOBs sitting in the warm sunshine states can kiss me where the sun doesn't shine!
Presently that would be Boston.
Ummm, I would, but you may like it.
