Does your husband know old friend? And how does he feel about him?

I think the answers to those questions will probably answer it.

I told him that I found an old friend from High school on facebook, and that we were catching up.
No, he does not know him, but he did ask me where he lived..when I ask him if it was ok to chat with him.

hmmmmm....i would say no. at least wait until after holidays and talk to spouse about it. I guess it depends....would he be staying with you guys? in a hotel? for a couple days? etc etc.....

I can see it being very awkward. Does he have a wife or gf? Maybe its just me, but I wouldn't be able to do it unless like he brought his wife or something. I would just feel wierd.

Is he an old boy friend, or just an old guy friend school buddy?

I could see you going out to lunch or dinner with the hubby in attendance.

Myself, personally, I wouldn't have a male friend stay over the house.

Mostly just friends since the 6th grade, but we did go on a few dates.
The more I think about it, maybe its not a good idea.

Yes, he would stay with us. He is divorced, and would come alone.

Yep, probably not a good idea for him to stay at your home.

His intentions may be innocent enough, but I probably still wouldn't do it just because of the potential for awkwardness. Too many possibilities, plus the fact that you two did date at one point, plus the fact that you're taken and he's divorced.

I wouldn't borrow trouble. If he wants to get away from where he is, there are plenty of ways to do that without staying with a girl he used to have a crush on.
