Its actually optional whether or not its open for business, and usually only 2-5 days.
Many years ago I dated a man for a long time (about 7 years), he had a little dysfunction before ED was advertised all over the internet and well before the little blue pill (viagra)... we just worked through it. I never made him feel like I was frustrated though, at times I was. If I acted like it was ok and let him work through it, he eventually was able to perform.
