Many foreign cultures still raise their girls to be subservient to men, and not consider themselves as equals. Strangely enough, in this country, we raise our girls to consider themselves equal, but we still raise our boys to consider themselves superior. It's not a good long-term strategy.
No. We raise the girls to think that they are equal when we actually treat them like they are superior.
Any boy who thinks he is superior will soon get it beaten out of him. Most just hope that is they toe the line, that some woman will deem him to be adequate to her many needs. Only later do they start to realize that they are being conned.
I didn't read through this entire thread - I don't have time anymore! But I will say this - I think all these divorce rate things are crap. They all say something different. Who cares? The best way to avoid divorce is to make sure you are marrying the right person for the right reasons. I'm not saying this is going to guarantee a successful marriage - but it will definitely help. The thing is - there are no guarantees in life about anything - except that we are all going to die someday. Be smart - but living in constant fear or being so paranoid about something that you look for excuses to avoid it is no way to live.
Of course I have to agree and you know why.
