Can't you people at least type out the word once so we we know what the hell you're talking about?
"Lately"? What, you've had your head in the sand for the last 7/8 years?? Please. We sure are getting desperate for thread material, aren't we?

It must be a drama free Memorial weekend for them. That's good news!

Well that's true. I've not been here much lately, I guess I was hoping for some more interesting posts!

Funny thing about music, or maybe it's about bouncers and specific ones at that...

I find that I can't "feel the music" when I'm working. I hear it but I can't get into it. In fact, when a dancer asks me what song just played I honestly cannot answer. But I CAN tell her what accent the tall guy in the red hoodie speaks in, or that he pulled up on a Harley without my having seen it.

But they can even tempt me with some lesser-heard songs of, say, Enigma, which usually has the same effect on me as organic catnip has on a young cat, to no avail.

But on my nights "off" I have no problem getting lost in it.

In some jobs you learn that letting your mind wander away from business= bad.

There, that'll learn 'em - I finally figured out how to respond to annoying religious posters - just mirror their speech (writing) patterns: 1 part ancient superstition, 2 parts insanity and fill to the line with BS. Let them bask in it for 2-1/2 hours and watch the rise you get!

*sigh* Life as a chef is good!
