Not to be snarky, but you know how to use the ignore feature. If your gripe is that immature kids are posting for attention, then don't give it to them.

Oh they aren't posting for attention at all. They are posting because they believe they have something to contribute. And the ignore feature is really only good for pesky fly by nighters. The amount of posts and the fact threads become inundated means ignoring people changes the flow of the thread. There's really not much you can do about them apart from wait until they cook a bit longer...like in about 10 years.
We are having a big old storm right now. It started around 2 a.m. ... thunder and lightning for hours. It's pouring rain at the moment. It's very dim, like early dawn, and the thunder is shaking the house. I love storms like these, but man I am dragging ass at the moment. Of course the children slept through the night, no problem.
It's still very humid, but at least it dropped down to the 60s. It was in the 90s a couple days ago.

I guess I feel like CD should be above such nonsense. By allowing so many garbage posts and threads on here, it really makes it a far less uselful and enjoyable forum.

We all have our breaking point ChessieMom and when we do, our posts are deleted. But yeah, I have definitely noticed the kids are over posting with their know-it-all attitudes lately.
Yeah. I've noticed it too especially one that opens thread after thread on different sections of this forum. I know I should ignore BUT WTF. I can't even go into her threads anymore because they are sooo lame and judgmental. It floors me to hear someone so young being so judgmental and they haven't even experienced life yet. Very frustrating. Hopefully CD doesn't become a haven for immature, judgmental jerks!
