She has to get up and go to work tomorrow so i didnt want to leave here too late knowing since has to be sleep by 11pm. The storm is still going on by the way and hasn't stopped yet so that means I would not have left until after 9pm.

You don't need to buy anything and jazz it up. Just make sure you have nice clean sheets,pillows and towels. Also clean your apartment from top to bottom-that is more important than jazzing it up.
