I know someone who has always been in a relationship and many many of them. But has no standard in dating and is never in love with any of them, but just needs to be in a relationship. I am trying to label this condition if you like and googling has not yielded anything.
I know I can never be with someone that I don't like or not attracted to. In fact I'd rather be single for the rest of my life and not date anyone I am not attracted to. Is there a name for someone who has no standard and is able to have a relationship with just about anyone of the opposite sex?
Some people just don't like to be alone. I have friends who would rather go places with people they really don't like than to go alone.
Definitely. And I know of three men, two of them at a very advanced age, who recently married so they wouldn't have to be alone. One seems happy, one is totally miserable and regrets his decision, and one for whom the jury is still out. I'm pretty good at being alone but only up to a point. There have been times in my life when I thought that the silence in my apartment would swallow me whole.

those kinds of people fascinate me. I'd probably hang out with them solely cuz they fascinate me. This is why I'm a psych major. People plain fascinate me.
