I am notorious at playing hard to get with men that I'm interested in or are interested in me, but when I beat around the bush, men become disinterested. Why? Would you rather women be easy & forward?

To me, it gets boring and you seem to be disinterested, so I start to look elsewhere.
Not really. My job is physically demanding and I work long hours. When I get home from work I'm not looking to play the "hey she may or may not like me" game. I think that game is for kids.
If you were the only woman in the room... otherwise, most men want women to be easy and forward in all aspects of life. There are men who involve themselves with female drama though, but you'll get even bigger drama in return...
