I know this is not the question but I have been happily divorced and doing fine for over 20 years! All the GUYS tell me I need a husband... I ask WHY? House is paid for, car is paid for, just month to month bills, why do I need a man to cook for, clean up after, run errans for and sit at home alone waiting for?

Been happily married for 48 yrs. Married Oct. 31-1960. Of course we have had our disagreements over the years but we still love each other. We are totally contented and pretty much set in our ways. We have 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Divorced 13 years and VERY happy. Sorry for being the odd ball. Don't need someone to account to as to where I'm going, what I'm doing, when will I be home, etc. I come and go as I see fit.

11 years - not very happy. Although like my name says, I'm still a happy person in general.

Married 11 years, together for 16. Had one 5-month separation in there. Mostly happy years, but we've been through a lot together. But we have a beautiful 5-year-old son and are in this for the long-term.

If I could give advice, it would be that marriage is not easy. Pick someone you respect and value. And have some outside interests and time apart.
