We used to have a full-service kitchen and a large menu. The last few years we've been reduced to frozen pizza, pretzels, taquitos and such.

So much for superior business planning - maybe this is one of those times when a disaster is actually a blessing in disguise for me ...

You know how you can tell when you have been in AK too long? You see boobs in a picture of cupcakes. Its been a month since I have even seen a woman, any woman. Sigh... I did hear one on the automated line at my bank today. That was nice. O_o

LOL, I don't even know where to begin. I do feel the urge to contact him and ask if this is a gay outing, though...

I just wanted to pop in and say...

... wait for it...

(I've been watching How I Met Your Mother too much)

... I gave my son his first driving lesson on Saturday. And I SURVIVED!

He won't actually get his license until he's in his 20s, most likely, but I figured he deserves to know a little about it, since kids his age are getting their licenses. My first lesson was, "Before I teach you how to go, I'm going to teach you how to STOP."

He did really well. Just drove (verrrry slowly) around the empty highschool parking lot a bit.

He hasn't stopped grinning, since!
