If so, what reason did you have for sticking with them? I'm talking about things other than their looks or personality?

It might have been their money, their dress sense, because you felt pressured into it, because they had an exotic accent...any reason at all.

If so did any of you end up developing an attraction for the other person?

No.

Really? People actually stay with someone they don't like for this?

Just trying to cover all the possibilities, Pimpy . In high school at least I used to hear girls say they loved men who wore a certain style of jeans, or shirt, or shoes, but I am assuming that most women have grown out of such a superficial mentality.

yes we get bored with people that dont float our boat but have good qualities so then we leave them and go after mr/ms wrong
its called animal magnetism.
its the reason men and women are drawn to the wrong people, boredom with good.
but we are a hedonistic society so we let our hormones make the choice and pay the price.

My Dallas Cowboys starter jacket got me a lot of tongue action in 6th grade. I have never even been a Cowboys fan, but they were the cool team to like back in '93-'94 and a Starter was a must-have item for pulling in the chicks. If you let a girl actually WEAR your Starter for a day, you might even make it to second base on the bus ride home.

But I can't imagine ANYONE over the age of 16 staying with a partner they otherwise don't want to be with because of their sense of style.

I bet you get dumped a lot for nitpicking, criticizing and scrutinizing don't you? I think they were just trying to make the point, 'for whatever reason'.

Actually, I haven't been "dumped" since 11th grade. I decide when my relationships end.

Do you get dumped a lot for assuming?

I don't feel like going into details, but yes, people can grow on you, particularly if they're crazy about you.

Some of these relationships work out long term even tho' they started out real bad.

Not assuming. I've read enough of your posts. You're a future/aspiring bitter old man. I may be old to you now, but you're old before your time.
