Agan -
To clarify: I don't date people for money, either. I earn quite enough to support myself. There are other plenty of other reasons for dating someone you're not crazy attracted to.

If so, what reason did you have for sticking with them? I'm talking about things other than their looks or personality?

It might have been their money, their dress sense, because you felt pressured into it, because they had an exotic accent...any reason at all.

If so did any of you end up developing an attraction for the other person?
Nah...just eventually moved on.

Wow, pretty scathing review on marriage by miss Sierra.. not what I would call a compliment to that 'institution' ..

Hold on let me finish my note-taking here.. *busts out the feather pen and with British voice*: "Ahem, if you want happy and passionate, Don't get married. If you want to get married, settle and forever hold your peace" Couldn't agree more

Well, having been in both types of marriage, my vote goes for this one.

You don't really believe that though...otherwise you'd still be in one.

I do believe in it. Always have; even before I ever married.

The thing is I had them reversed. Most people start out crazy and then go reasonable. I did it the other way around.

Now I don’t have any particular need for reasonable, so I can keep doing crazy when the opportunity presents itself.
