Mine survived but I was cleaning out my purse and looked at my ticket and didn't realize she had kids on board as well (her husband was in Michigan awaiting her arrival). I tossed the ticket already so now I'm wondering if her kids survived or not. They were 3rd class passengers so very lucky indeed!
Did you see the 1st class room rates and what they would have gone for in today's dollars? I think the basic was $57K and if you chose a multi-room suite it was $103K for the trip. Amazing!!!!
I was going to get some things cooking today but it just didn't happen. I got caught up organizing our attic and 3rd floor and getting rid of a lot of crap up there. It's only the 6 of us so I can just cook it all tomorrow. Plenty of time still!
When I saw my passenger was 3rd class & male I knew he was a goner; from Racine WI he sold his barber shop to pay for the trip to see relatives in Denmark. I looked on the 'saved' list first, it was much shorter, and that's how I found out about his wife.
BTW, if you should attend another event such as this give them a Greensboro zip code, it knocked $1 off admission.

You have to know how to type them. For instance, this ":*smack*:" (ignore the asterisks) produces ! Had I not used the asterisks, it would've produced the icon. When you quote somebody who used some icon, you can see what that pseudo-code looks like.
