However, in a few years he won't be asking to borrow the car and I won't be worrying about him when he breaks curfew...so he'll be on top again.
I solved that problem by adopting senior dogs. Of course, now they are just crotchety old farts.

LOL...we adopted a puppy which was a learning experience. I wanted a 3-4yr old and my husband was insistent on a puppy and of course all the kids rallied along with him.

And you had to mention farts...sometimes I wonder WTF my dog eats to smell so damn foul. HOLY crow!

What kind of food does he eat? Maybe it doesn't agree with him.

I had a golden who would took... She would look at her tail and have a bewildered look like "what was that."

Others let em rip and boy howdy even the dogs would leave the room. So I'd answer in kind.

He eats Evolve Dog food but I'm thinking it's all the crap he picks up along the way...a jelly bean here, goldfish crackers there...basically whatever he can beg away from the kids.

LOL, we were in the kitchen the other day, and he was sitting on the floor between the two boys watching their conversation like a tennis match.

All of a sudden you here a toot squeak out between his butt and the floor and the boys look at him and say "FINNLEY!!!! EWwww" and he turns and looks at me like "it wasn't me, it was her". We were dying laughing.

Haha...yeah, that'll do it! At least he's snagging actual food. Our foster dog emits some FOUL odors, which I'm sure isn't helped by the FOWL crunchies he likes to snag, if you catch my drift..

Ohhh, yup! Garbage in is garbage out huh? lol

We had to move the litter box out of his reach because he just LOVED those "nonpareil candies"....so much so they gave him a parasite which cost a small fortune to get under control!

I'm just glad we don't have to worry about house cats. Of course, we do have to worry about mountain lions and skunks, plus all the turkey, deer and horse poo! Living in the country is awesome. Haha.
