I've dated both ages of men and have determined I'm more compatible with someone 10 years older in general. However, I don't think anyone should rule anything out.
I could easily marry younger than myself because people don't believe me when I tell them my age but, call it insecurity, I won't go younger. I'm afraid they'd one day wake up and wonder who the old woman next to them is. That would be heart-wrenching. So I'll stick with my age or older.
I can easily see this, unless the person has that ageless gene. I have gone out with a woman 15 years my senior, and that was probably pushing it. She was a sun worshipper and looked her age. Call me superficial but it did get to me. On the other hand I have seen plenty of women at that age that looked fantastic and always looked 10 years yonger than there actual age.
Personally I believe that most people are about as mature as they are going to get by their early 30s. On dating sites I usually look at a woman with suspician if she is 35 or older and has her lower range of man set at 25 or below. It's a red flag for me. Now, a 40 with a 30, not as strange.
Men how do you feel about older women? Would you date, even marry a woman 10 years older than you? 15 years older than you? Whats your limit?
Ladies - would you date, marry a man 10 years YOUNGER than you? 15 years? What is YOUR limit? Do you think it is all just a number and if the chemistry is right than age doesn't mater? Or do you believe it is essential to stay within an age range despite chemistry or love.
Yes, I would gladly date / marry an older woman, if I felt she was my soul mate...alas though, older women have never liked me romantically though, even when I actively dated them The opposite effect, however, with younger gals...go figure...I don't even completely understand why, myself...

Well I'm 26 now so even if I married a woman today who was 36, she'd be nearly 40 soon, which seems a little scary. Since I haven't really experienced much I'd stick to someone my age or a bit younger, but in principle would definitely be open to it.
