Maybe because old dudettes have matured past supporting and putting up with the nonesense of a ditsy young stud muffin to parade around in public. They probably just use the services of those young stiff escort workers, get their physical gradification and get up the next morning engaging with people that actually value their company and not their money.
Yeah, I think that's what they do and it's far better. However, we're not talking about preference... we're talking about ability and the ability is not the same.

Women being happy to support a man and pay for sex? That would be like saying men would be happy to be with an old obese woman past her prime.
Val Kilmer used to be quite the sex symbol when he was in his prime. What's your point?

Men don't compete with men on a "purely physical beauty aspect." We compete with each other on a "status aspect," and status is amorphous.
You go on a believe what you want but men are competing in the looks department as well, some may not be aware of it. Really, status is amorphous. Then how do men compete ona status aspect?

A 50-year old man is often more attractive than a 25-year old man. He usually has more money, more life experience, more confidence, and most importantly, more experience dealing with women.
The same can be said for women. There is that small group of men who only value physical appearence in women. Apparently you are a member of that group.

It doesn't matter. Looks is one way for men to attract women (and often the weakest attractant). Power and dominance are more attractive. "Attractive" meaning "actually turning women on." What a man may lose in physical appeal, he often makes up with higher earnings, higher job status, and experience. A woman who loses her physical appeal, on the other hand, has no compensating attributes to attract men. That's why a 50-year old Sinead O'Connor is struggling to get a date from the mail man and a 50-year old George Clooney can get laid with virtually any woman he wants.
Again your going back to the premise that woman are only attracted to money and men to beauty. If you look at these relationships you describe it usually never ends well. These are the examples where you will eventually hear the men complaining about how they lost all their assests and are having to pay and pay and pay to support these women after the eventual divorce.
In reality the happiest couples are those similar in age and background that dont put emphasis on money and looks.
"Dudettes" can't get young "stud muffins." Those "stud muffins" are out trying to get the same young, supple babes that everybody else is trying to get.
No there not because they are of the same mentality of those hottie gold diggers. They are in it for the money.
Not really. If a woman is too fat, wrinkled, hair is not as silky, skin is not as smooth, she looks her age (old), etc. then a man will simply not be interested in her and look for someone else. If a woman see’s a man who doesn’t have a cool attractive well-paying job, drives a so so car, lives at home, etc. she will pass on him and accept other guys’ invitations. A bit different if a man’s wife gains weight later and ages just like anybody else or a woman’s husband loses his job.
Well I beg to differ. If a man is fat, wrinkled, bald and looks old a woman will just not be interested in him. Of course there are exceptions. There are women that are just materialistic and will hang on a man just for his assets. But normal women are initially attracted to the physical just as men are. If they are well off, well, bonus.
Nah, same if a woman's husband gains weight later or a man's wife loses her job.

Men competing in the looks department? Can’t see men jealous because a man walked by with some cool shoes or because he is thinner, come no, really. Men competing on a status aspect? That makes more sense.

No but we can’t deny they play an important role for women (man’s money) and men (woman’s beauty).
