Ok, how do we define a "jockette?" It's a tighter definition than "earthy." Generally, they are rabid fans of one to three professional or university sports teams, and they can get real loud. They know all the "stats." They often wear t-shirts or sweats pertaining to their teams. They get on real well with the guys at a "happy hour," guzzling down the beers. They like men. However, the guys they hang with aren't interested in them romantically, it seems. Also, note that neither professional athlete nor college jocks choose a "jockette" as girlfriend. Tends to be more interested in athletic pursuits than in other aspects of life.

I wont comment..since im a woman. However, Im glad I read this as I thought a 'jockette' would be a woman who was a very good athlete HERSELF, and was into that whole atheletic scene.

100% absoultely! That's what I'd look for, although the term jockette sounds... strange.

I'm no professional athlete, I don't care.. but I am a sports fan and love drinking beer.

Yes, that too. It goes without saying.

Dating a "jockett" IMO would be like dating another guy which is ok for some but never ever for me!

Then again I've heard that jockett's have to much testosterone which is the driving force behind sex making them a tiger in the bedroom!

So you take a female, which I already don't understand very well, then add the one element of men I understand the least? You end up with a creature I can't relate to in any way. So no, I would not date a jockette.

I have always dated "sporty" chicks. Not the big legged ogre ones. The cute, great body, great face types. I don't view "jockette" as bad at all. I just view it as a female athlete. Their not all good looking, but often times that's where some of the best looking girls are. At least in high school or college. I guess it depends on what your view of them is. I think, very flat stomach. Nice long legs. Probably perky breasts. No tree trunk legs. That's ideal..Some of the hottest chicks were jocks. I played alot of sports so maybe it's because I have been around female athletes all my life. Probably why I perfer them. Why not want a girl who takes care of herself and is in good shape too?

That's what I figured a jockette would be as well. A person that plays sports rather than someone on the side line of watching other people play sports.

eta:, jockette is actually a female jockey.

jockette

Listen

noun
Informal a woman jockey (sense )

I don't understand how it could be unattractive to have a girl who loves sports. I would have a very hard time really dating a girl who didn't care at all about sports, and if she didn't like going out to sports bars and getting beers for happy hour she probably wouldn't get along too well with me or any of my friends.

They don't have to be jocks or play sports or be ugly to enjoy beer and watch sports!!

Yeah, that's how I feel. I mostly always dated girls who played/watched too. But my current gf doesn't like sports..

She can't understand why I watch so many of them. But girls I've dated, even my sister watched them..

If I was single, my perfect girl for me (age/likes/attraction) would be Michelle Beadle on the show "sportsnation"...

A girl who is smart, good looking and argue any sport with you..

Now that's what I'm talking about!
