Not really. You just have to be interesting. If you have a lot of common interests with the guy and have an interesting life, they don't care how old you are. Life is not a cesspool of cliches.

A 50 year old man may not want a 50 year old woman but guess what he is going to get likely? I can almost guarantee that 30 year old won't look at him. I am 42 and the idea of a 60 year old man makes my skin crawl because he is old enough to be my dad. Btw Taco Man is 50 and if he wasn't a young 50 there is no way I'd otherwise want to date him. He acts young 9as do I)but a typical 50 year old man would just be too old.

I know a woman who's in her 50's married to a guy who's in his 20's. It was his idea, he convinced her the age difference wasn't important. They have a lot in common and are happy.

That reminds me of the old commercial for e-Trade, where this buff young guy was jumping on a trampoline in this mansion. Next thing you hear is the voice of an old lady calling him. But that doesn't mean she will take him. I don't know why many men think women are seeking to date older. I'm not, and most women I know aren't. If they meet an older guy then fine but from talking to a lot of younger women they cringe when older men contact them online and so did I when a much older man contacted me.
Sometimes the questions asked on this forum make me wonder if any of you have ever left your house before??
