I really think this is a distorted sense of intimacy. How is kissing more intimate than sex?
Ok how about this then kissing (FOR ME) is more intimate then sex you don't have to care about someone when your just having sex. I don't believe in kissing anyone I don't care, or love, even more so during sex if you love someone your having sex with them then sex is a big part of it. LIke someone else pointed out sex is & can be just an act.

Not to get off topic or bring up anything personal for some people but do rapists have any emotion or intimacy with their victims? Think about it. There are people who have sex randomly...no emotion, not a care about that person. It's the act of doing something. "Making love", however you want to phrase it, THAT is intimacy.
I was asked for advice by a friend of mine on her current situation with a guy she has been seeing. They have seen each other 7 times and had sex twice but he has never kissed her. Not even goodbye. She also says that after sex he gets up and showers immediately and changes the sheets on his bed. He has even gotten onto her for getting makeup on his shirt, He sounds like a jerk to me but for some reason she likes him.
Any ideas why he doesnt want to kiss her?
Two things. Number one, women like jerks(even though they say they don't) that's why your friend keeps going back. And number two, you don't have to kiss somebody to have sex with them, that's ridiculous. Espcially if a man doesn't care about a women or if she's just a booty call(which your friend sounds like she is). No telling where her mouth has been.
