My buddy had a couple girls from his work over last night, and I hit it off pretty well with one of them. In the process I ripped her VS bra and broke it. Would you buy her a new one or just forget it?

If you feel the need, go for the gift card. But I would say you are not obligated because she was party to the "breaking."

Do you like her and want to see her again? Yes, it will be a funny topic of conversation and a good "in" for a second date. If not, then no, move on.

Yeah, I thought she was a cool girl, and she's also really good friends with my buddy. I'll probably be seeing her around here and there.

Would she fix your car if she scratched the door? Doubt it.... just normal wear and tear.

Women need to watch their purses! I have had my doors scratched a few times!!!

Yes, be a gentleman and take care of any damages. Also, buy her a set of matching panties.

I like the idea of the gift card from maybe Victoria's Secret.

Unless she cries about that, I wouldn't.

The gift certificate idea is a good one. It's classier than cash. You can't buy one because you don't know the exact size (it's very complicated), and it would be weird if you bought her one. You wouldn't even have to say the gift certificate is for the bra, you could just say this is your treat after the last mishap. (Who knew bras could break?) Just be sure you put enough money into the gift card; you'd be surprised how expensive those things can be. I'd say $40 minimum. You don't want to come up short on something like this, and end up looking cheap.

As others said, if you do buy her a gift card or something make sure its kind of jokingly. Do not buy her one because "you owe it to her". You dont owe her anything. I once broke a girls necklace before getting it on. Oops!

I would say it would make for a great starting convo to a second date.
