How often do you get hit on in public? (date, women, love)

I don't know about other guys, but the idea of getting hit on in PUBLIC by STRANGERS sounds like a very foreign concept for me. Aside from maybe a handful of girls I meet at bars.etc, who were probably drunk, for me the grand total is zero, nada, never. Unless I didn't get the signals.

Let's make this clear, don't include bars, clubs, singles events, parties or any other place where this type of thing is EXPECTED.

I'm talking just in public, in shopping malls, libraries, at the store, on the street.etc.

I'm going to poll males and females. I've heard of women who complain about getting hit on a lot in public, maybe at their jobs.etc. I have no idea how often it happens for attractive men.

every time i go out, i get street harassment.. if that counts.. i'm sure its not because i'm attractive but because the men are horny thirsty creeps who holler at anything with a warm hole

I am a male. There's a woman at my work who very obviously is in love with me, so I get hit on her a lot. I barely ever go anywhere other than work but back when I did I'd get hit on probably twice a week, like women at fast food places still give me free stuff and act flirty with me probably like once a month (I eat fast food often).

I used to work in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of DC, that's the well known gay district. They have a lot of cool things like cool restaurants, coffeeshops and bookstores so I'd just eat lunch at places and frequent the bookstores. I swear at least one guy would hit on me every day when I did that. It got even worse when I'd hit the bar after work, I'd go to kind of the regular bars where there were men and women and always a gay guy would offer to buy me a drink.

I should have mentioned 'hit on by the opposite sex' because I've been hit on by gay men twice in my life.

I'm a guy who works in the tech industry, so I'm around men during the work day and they're thankfully not hitting on me. And even after work or on weekends, women don't 'hit on' me.

I guess I'm suffering from that disease called 'ugliosis'
