OKCupid/PoF's problem is that they're free. People aren't motivated when it's free. Accounts go dead, messages go unanswered (or are answered without any effort).
None of the ones I have tried has yielded me any success. And it seems as times progresses, the quality of men on the dating sites is getting worse and worse.
I have chosen to never use dating sites again. I'd rather meet someone in person.

Most people would, but there is no reason to restrict yourself to one or the other.
I used well-known Match.com earlier but I failed to find my true love. Actually it's a good website.
But 3 month ago I started to use Originclub.com and I found there a pretty ukrainian girl. I'm not sure is she my future wife but we have a good talk.

Yeah, I'm going to go with that option. Most of them require you to pay, and the ones that don't are not very good. I have tried out POF many times now and it is about as nerve-wracking as it gets. Here is a list of reasons why the site is a waste of time and why I will probably never go back to it. Keep in mind that my filter only showed girls ages 18-21 and that I live in the surburbs of Washington, D.C.
1) Most of the women on the site are looking for men that are out of their league. Your typical POF girl is going to be moderately overweight, which personally is not a deal breaker for me even though I'm in good shape. I was once overweight myself and I can understand that not everyone is going to able to shed the pounds like I did. What bothers me is that these women who are overweight and average-looking are expecting to date men who are super handsome, successful and stylish. Maybe they are just gold diggers, but it sure is annoying.
2) The girls are hard to talk to. I have talked to more girls on POF than I can remember, and almost none of the conversations went anywhere. A lot of times girls will message me and hardly have anything to say. Usually the hotter a girl is, the more of an air head she will be.
3) They post sexual pictures, yet get upset when guys make sexual comments. Don't go around with your DDs half-exposed if you don't want guys checking them out.
4) A large percentage of the women are single mothers looking for a guy who can be an instant father.
Is not that the same for men? This is few things I met okay,
I met men with no shirts - some times no face but tool box- some times a big tattoo on his arm or where ever in the body, some were look like never seen a hair brush either shaving machine, but their profile request my ideal mate: very pretty,professional flexibility,out going,well mannered behavior,independent,educated,thin waist,not too big breasts, willing to locate, blue eyes , dark brown hair no blonde please,no bended toes, little toe need to be strait, those are few and here you make comments about woman?
