He looks like that Rick Astley guy, the Rick-roll guy in the first pick.
Wow, you're not the first person to tell me I look like Rick Astley, by the way his music is awesome, listen to his later music. Much better than his 80s synth pop stuff
Aw, c'mon here guys, why not have a heart, and a lil compassion here, for the OP? Maybe with some positive encouragement, rather than being overly-critical or judgmental, some positive feedback (if you feel thusly inclined to give some, of course) could actually help him feel *more* confident in his pursuit of the ladies, rather than less
I mean tbh, if you flip the equation toward the opposite gender, people on here are also usually pretty kind-hearted and complimentary, when a gal poster asks if she is attractive -- and I can think of many examples, to that effect -- so why can't we also do the same, for the guys as well? I think the OP is quite good-looking (meant in a platonic way), and said so, earlier...maybe in his own eyes though, he honestly doesn't consciously "see", or realize, that he is in fact good looking; hence he posited the question here?
It's not even about looks (though from the looks of it, I would say he's definitely a beta). Posting a pic and asking if you're attractive is absolutely beta. It doesn't even matter since women are primarily drawn to confidence and attitude anyway.
I was recently told by a woman I had a date with, who I've known for a few weeks, she said she could tell I was a total dork in high school, and that I became hot. Do any women in the 20s agree?

Herein lies the KEY to this whole thread.
I think the person who was "hot" in HS and is "hot" 10 years later processes things differently from the person who was "not hot" in HS but became "hot" 10 years later.
With all the stuff psychology departments study, this is just another phenomenon that they could look into.
I had missed that sentence, but it sort of explains why we have this thread.
